Learn some of the creative ways quilters have come up with to solve this problem. The right prep, products and techniques will get you quilting those larger quilts. Any quilt can be quilted in “sections” but the method you use will depends on the quilt pattern, at what point you decide to “quilt as you go” and the materials used. Student Supply List: Good sewing machine [must do zigzag] with all regular accessories, Walking foot, ¼” foot Neutral colored thread General sewing supplies – scissors, pins, fabric marker, rotary cutter, ruler etc. #505 Quilt Basting Spray or #101 Web Bond [optional] Any quilt patterns, pictures or existing quilts to discuss if you’d like Kit fee for all materials: $20 Supply for classroom: At least two irons and cutting mat stations These products will be discussed in class; bring if you have.
