Westalee Workshop with Adele at the 204 Cultural Center, 204 Sisson Road, Harwich, MA. Come learn something new or improve your skills! Thursday, Day 1, will be New or Review Day with the Westalee Sampler Set designs, set-up, troubleshooting and more advanced designs for the review students if they want. Also, there’s an option to work on a small project. Friday Day 2 – Explore other rulers. AM will be Borders – turning corners, planning the fit and which rulers are good for border designs. Saturday PM - Edge to Edge options – explore the various rulers for this technique including what your Westalee Sampler Set can do. [Think meandering, Baptist fans, interlocking circles, clamshells, honeycomb, straight-line work and more. NOTE: More advanced students may work on a real quilt with my OK.

Quilted Jacket Workshop with Adele at The 204 Cultural Center, 204 Sisson Road, Harwich, Ma.
Quilted Jacket Workshop – This will be a multi-day individualized course that will give you a personally fitted, quilted jacket [or vest] that’s a one-of-a -kind design you create or just make a simple adult or children’s vest or jacket. Quilted jackets are everywhere this fall so join the trend but make it your own inspired version. You can create the jacket’s fabric, with fabric piecing, applique, thread painting, quilting [free-motion, ruler work etc.], or other surface embellishment or use pre-quilted fabric or cut-up an existing quilt. From a simple, understated jacket to a statement piece, it's sure to draw many a quilter’s envy; this will be a labor of love and hopefully experimentation.
